thanks for the comments - Im afraid raps is called "Rape" in english, so there goes the neighbourhood.
The effect is inspired by my Holga camera which blurs and darkens edges because of it's low quality lens. This picture is all photoshop though - I like the holga, but I don't agree with the romantic idea of photography where luck and uncertainty add to the creative process. The picture should be be judged as a product in itself, and fluke exposures that turn out well cannot reflect on the ability of the photographer to produce beautiful images. It only reflects on a persons ability to press a button at random times. The process to me is unimportant from an aesthetic point of view, but I would be interested to hear your points of view...? simon Chercka @ 2007-05-21
