For Denmark’s 3rd largest pension provider – Sampension – we implemented a digital mailbox system allowing them to handle all digital communications with their 300.000 customers. The solution integrates with Sampension’s own case handling system (Workflow), letting them seamlessly post and reply to messages that customers submit online behind a secure NemID digital signature. Users are able to attach files, which are converted to PDF and Sampension can reply with legally binding offers which the user can sign digitally and return.
The project was run as an Agile iterative project. An intial estimation was given, based on a fairly rough design spec by Advice Digital. This intital estimate was met and exceeded by about 30% of extra billable hours primarily due to added or altered functionalities.
Sampension is Denmarks third largest pension provider, founded in 1928 and currently with nearly 300.000 customers, and assets worth €28 billion (2013).
